Summer or Winter rain or sun I wear gloves. maybe my skin isn't as tough as others so if I slid down the road I could wear my meat down to the bone, seen plenty of photos of those that have. Thousands of options for even hot summer riding. When you take a tumble your first instinct is to put your hands down to stop the fall, do that at 50mph and see what it does to you digits

I don't take a shower at 60mph, I have a pair of vented BMW gloves for summer and a pair of HD insulated for colder weather.

For those that don't wear gloves, please tell us why you don't.
Curious I always like to hear the opposing view.

I wear them all the time. I would think the rain would be a for sure time to wear them due to increase in going down ie wet pavement, traction and such. I work as a nurse and have seen some nasty road rash and ripped off fingers. My wifes cousin who is a old long haired biker always wore gloves no matter what and told me ya better wear these cause if ya ever go down and mess your fingers up ya can't get your own zipper down....I thought that was funny yet so true...Try doing things with one hand tied behind your back which was an exercise we had to do once to understand what some of our patients were experiencing in physical and occupational therapy. Sorry so long but YES I wear gloves in the rain.
Plus if you do go down chances are the first thing your going to do is put your hands out...I'll tell ya even at 20-30mph your hands can get shredded...

Wear gloves at all times on the bike -- I have 3 pairs -- cold weather -- Tourmaster, not quite as cold -- Napa insulated, normal summer weather -- Napa non-insulated. They are all gauntlet style --

Yes I wear gloves all the time. Rain or Shine.
Only exception might be a short put in my lil town to get a bite to eat or the hardware store.

I tell ya what that HD bright orange rain suit that sells for about $200 ish add the rain boot covers that cover your boots your almost to $300 I rode in a very bad rain / mild hail storm and not a drop of water on me any place. I didn't stop cause I figured why stop I will pass me and I'll have to ride through it again. Great buy

I did yesterday.... to keep my rain gear from inflating. Even though my bars aren't above the fairing, they're tall enough to cause my non-velcro closure wrist rain gear to inflate. had to wear my insulated gauntlets.... that sucked.
