I've heard of some guys who wear a glove made for kayakers. Never tried them myself but you can get them at an outdoor equipment shop like MEC etc.

I wear gloves during all the rides...if you've ever burned your hands while on long rides...you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. Rain is no different to me...I always wear my gloves

+1 I always wear gloves. I use a pair of dinghy sailboat racing gloves I got at West Marine. Made to have good grip in the wet and have padded palm and finger protection too.

I wear the neoprene fishing gloves when it rains. I still get a good grip on the bars and levers. They do make your hands sweat though.

I always wear gloves, what's the natural reaction if you're sliding down the road?

When I know it'll be raining I where Rukka http://www.grandprixlegends.com/moto...ove-black.html

If it's not I'll wear deerskin gloves from Aerostich http://www.aerostich.com/aerostich-deerskin-gloves.html

I have many pairs though for cold/warm/touring etc

If not wearing the gerbing heated gear . I like deerskin (not sure of brand) they have a thin lining works good up to low 90's deg and down to upper 40's, I spray all the sewn seams with a rain repellant like payless shoes or Kiwi brand after they dry good treat the rest of the glove with obenauf's leather conditioner, let that dry good and use a towel to remove excess oil.
So far they have kept out the water and very very comfortable. Been using the gauntlets and short version going on 10 yrs.

I never ride without gloves. You're even more likely to go down in the rain so that should be more of an incentive to wear gloves when you ride in the rain. In a minor crash, proteceive gear is often the difference between walking (limping) away or taking an ambulance ride.
