Default FLHP riders! Show me your license plate brackets!!

My BF just bought a new 2010 flhp. I love it and he has never been happier. This bike is absolutely the most amazing ride either of us have even been on. Even makes me want to trade the dyna in for another cop bike as soon as I can find another one.
Anyway, It's time for the 1000 ml service soon - and we were hoping to figure out a way to get rid of the damn beacon rack in the back but are looking for new ways to mount the license plate. I'd love to see some ideas of what you guys have done to yours. I did some searches on here but didn't find a whole lot.
Any help you guys can give me would be appreciated.
Sorry no pics yet but I will work on that today while we are off on another glorious NY day to celebrate the 4th of July.

I can't get you a photo right now, but I have a FLHP and had a Kuryakyn kit that has the rear directional lights and license plate relocator integrated in one kit. It looks awesome. I actually saw it on a different bike when I was getting ready to pick mine up and told the shop to do it prior to delivery. Check out the link below.

Enjoy the upstate riding...originally from up there...head up to Vermont...throughout Bennington up into Manchester...beautiful riding.

We often ride in to Vermont. One of my favorite rides is thru the covered bridges. Ended up going thru Connecticut today to do a little riding without our helmets. Feels so free!!
I checked out the link. I wish you had a pic. Would love to see the bike without the radio platform before we take this one off.
The only thing that is slightly offputting about this bike - since she is a beast in everyway, is finding parts for her.
Thanks for your help.

When all of the barckets etc... for the platform are removed I would think that you could get the stock mounting setup for a Stree Glide or Road Glide. You could also use the Kuryakyn setup. Another option would be to get the plate mount from the kit that makes the tour pak removable for the Classic/Ultra etc... That brakcet is not that good looking in my opinion. Sorry, just thoughts and no pics. Good luck.

You probably already know that you can't use anything for an 08 or earlier- most aftermarket stuff is for the earlier narrow fender.

I used a signal bar from a 10 Road King ( classic I think)- on my 09 FLHTC- nice and tidy, led lights built in, just splice them in---and the signals are tucked in a little closer too

With very few exceptions you can use any parts that fit the same year standard (non-police) road king. Should be no issue finding parts. Biggest thing for me to figure out was how to space up the detachable rack for my king tour pak due to the cop bags...other than Tha, no issues with parts. I highly recommend the four point docking station as it will allow you to mount virtually anything Harley has to offer on it. I can try and get you some pics at a later date...I'm away from my bike right now.

You're Welcome

P.S.
There should be nothing "offputting" about owning a Cop Glide. Thousands of us do. You can leave it stock or customize it as much as you wish. Not really much different than any other Harley.

Have fun!
