Default Bleeding ABS

I changed the bars and raked my 08 SG, so we had to change the abs brake line to a longer one. We've bled it 4 times have full handle. 10 minutes later the lever goes to the grip. I know there is some air in there somewhere. Is there a trick to bleeding an abs setup?

You probably have air in the line to the ABS module and will have to get the dealer to use their machine to bleed the brakes. I'm assuming the ABS module has to be activated to get the air out of that line, although I'm not really sure.

Yeah, you need digital technician to get the ABS pump to cycle.

And while there get the service manual, so you know what you're letting yourself in for when you next work on your bike!

You can bleed it yourself. It helps to reverse bleed it with a syringe when you start the job, then use a mityvac or similar on the calipers. It took me 2 tries but I got the lever to where I'm happy with it.

Yeah, I've bled my ABS brakes numerous times (from all the bar swaps) and never had a problem.
