Some campgrounds do have ramps. All have a ditch or a little incline that you can back into.

All dealerships have one, including Black Hill H-D. It's a few miles out of town, so that way you can ride your bike into town to make it look like you actually road it there.

Call Black Hills HD I recall others using them in the past years and no mention of any charge. I bought a 6 ft. folding ramp a number of years ago and it comes in real handy for loading bikes, ATV's, lawn mower and even for the dog (Black Lab) when lymes was bothering him and he could not jump up the steps.

We hauled with a uhaul trailer last year. Every campsite had some kind of ramp, or at least everyone I visited had a ramp of some kind. Besides, you will not be the only people hauling a bike or two or more, so I would say that you should have no problem getting a getting a bike into or out of your truck.

The one time I had my sold but not forgotten 95 flstn in the back of my truck I used my ramps for the lawn mower. If you don't want to bend your tailgate put a piece of plywood down first.

Now thats a thought, maybe even unload just inside of Nebraska so I can check off another State I've rode in.

I have a Wells Cargo cycle hauler that I rarely use.

I would rather figure an easy way in and out of the truck and I've heard some good ideas with the built in ramps at some of the campgrounds and HD dealers

John Bellmore is a good friend of mine. He is in Stugis at BHHD working in the parts department until October. Contact him and he will help you out. Tell him Mike (aka Bigdaddy from Virginia sent you!)

NO! before you even suggest it.
Some of the campgrounds do. Your best bet is to call the place where you plan to stay and ask them, rather than asking a general "does anybody know if..." here.
