I had one on my 2011 cvo sg, A lot better then stock if you do not want to look through windshield. I ware glasses and had to switch to a higher shield.

To answer the question.....I'm running a Windsplitter on a new Street Glide. The dealer swapped out the 4" for a 7"standard, so my only comparison is that 7" and the 7" Windsplitter.....and I only have 600 miles on the bike thous far.

I can't say it makes a Huge difference. I know enough that a 500 mile ride with the new shield will be comfortable. The reviews on the 8.5" Klock Werks are good......I simply like the looks of the HD better and the improvement was enough for me.

Im 5'10 and the stock windshield wants to tear my glasses off. Now i like the wind in my face and have rode a fatboy without a shield a many mile and prefer no windshield. But with the new SG its growing on me, not so much pressure on my chest. Planning on a long trip before long and want to cut down some of the turbulence.... Thinking about the windsplitter

The Windsplitter, compared to the stock windshield, feels a LOT better. The stock windshield was driving me crazy at 70+ mph, so after a couple of weeks I decided to change it. One of these days I may try the Klock Werks 8.5, but for now I am very happy with my Windsplitter.

Look for some different sizes of the wind splitter at your local dealer around the end of the month

I tried it. An improvement over stock, but not quite what I wanted. I ended up getting the 7" Long Rides Ultra and it's perfect for 5'8".

I have the Windsplitter, 6.5 Klock Werks and the 8.5
The first photo gives the best overall height difference because the 8.5 fell down in the second. The 8.5 is what I use on longer rides, but I look through it a bit. the 6.5 is on my bike most of the time, I just didn't think the Windsplitter did as good of job at redirecting the air over my head.
