Default RE: Fulsac True Dual Conversion with RUSH???

Did you guys running slip-on's before the fullsac notice that it was louder after the true duals setup was installed?

It might be a little louder after the install. It might just be because you are hearing exhaust on both sides of the bike .

Oh yea! Didn't we mention that???LOL And in stereo too! I had SE slip-ons and couldn't stand them after the swap. Got a set of B&E Superflows
and LOVE the sound these pipes put out. But thats up to the individual. Everyone has their own feeling on the sound of pipes.

What did you not like about the SE pipes and the fullsac conversion? Was it the tone, volume, etc???
I bought my 08 Road Glide for touring and do not want to go LOUD (my V-Rod has a CFR on it and my ears still bleed!)
I was thinking of doing stage one d/l, AC, SE pipes and true duals from fullsac.

Alright, I just went through this.
I did get the Mufflers re-cored by B&E. He does a fantastic job.
When it came to heat shields being turned around on an 08. It looks cheesy, In My Opinion.
So I bought the Samson True Duals. But I kept B&E re-cored mufflers.
By the way B&E does a supperb job of customer service.

I DID like the SE pipes till I did the Fulsac conversion. Then they were just too loud for my old ears anyway. Seemed to be,...I don't know, cheap sounding? Like someone just knocked out the baffles or something. The B&E Superflows tone it down while putting around the neighborhoodbut bark nicely when you roll on the throttle.

I have had the black FullSac conversion on my 07 SG for about 15,000 miles. I use it with Python slip-ons and it sounds great to me. Not to loud for cruising, but will bark when I want it to and I can hear the radio just fine. Other than that my SG is completely STOCK. No downloads, no A/C changes, no nuttin! And I might leave it that way it's running so good. That's my experience, your mileage may vary!

I have the black fullsac. I did have problems taking my left side cover off, but you see that screw and bolt that holds the rear header to the frame, loosen it up and adjust it and problem is resolved. I have nothing but good reviews from fullsac. I ordered my pipe and they sent the wrong one. They sent one with the O2 bung, I had a ride coming up and they overnighted the correct one and trusted me to send the incorrect one back. I went with fullsac to save money and have no regrets.
