SEE YA at Sturgis Samson. Mabey somebody else with a fire engine red Ultra will like the looks of the matching gold pipes.We may be on to something here.Mabey after 20 hrs hard ride the left side will match the right.A little heat resistant paint and a Samson stincile will go a long ways.

 

Samson is doing the best we can to keep up with the demand this year. sometimes we run out of stock and have to wait for more parts to be made. In this case we have a lot of product at chrome and randy1352 will be shipped his pipes either soon or they have already been shipped. What we promise we will follow through, always! I was told the item was in stock and being shipped that day.So dont try and make it seem that I am inpatient.If it has been shipped please post the tracking # here with my permission so the other 220 people who have seen this post can follow. Its not a monitary issue with me anymore.Ive pissed more than this away before.

 

I have had the ovals on my RK since forever and no issues w/ them at all. Only thing is I wish they had come out w/ the new true duals a couple months ago. I bought the standards and damn that rear head pipe is hot on my left leg For the op at least you are getting a response from them. I had major issues with bassani pro streets on my FXDL and ate the $ I spent on the pipes. Wouldn't touch THEIR products w/ a ten ft pole

 

I had a 99 ultra fuel injected with Samson ovals loved the sound quality was exelent.So of course I invested in another set.Which now puts me in my current dilima.I will like I said be at Sturgis.Their actions will determine how I spend my 5 days there.They should refund and Ill send their scrap metal back at this point.Dont trust them or their product.

 

please make sure your bike is tuned properly before that hard ride. discoloration is caused by heat, not faulty manufacturing. we are making a point to warranty the mufflers even though the bike is running too lean. you will receive a new muffler so please dont make this one discolor as well. get a retune on your module to the screaming eagle download. you will be much happier.

Hmm.... it sounds as though JR is insinuating that Randy "made" his muffler discolor due to a poor tune.

I'm currently in the market for new mufflers, I know whose mufflers I won't be using.

 

Friend of mine has2011 ultra also has about 5000 miles on set of reinhardts no tune stock just like mine still look new. Ill be sure to let him know to get his tuner also.Thank you for the heads up.

randy1352, I want to personally apologize for the late shipping of your muffler. There are times when wires get crossed and this is one of them and Samson takes full responsibility for the delay. For all those who jumped on the Samson bashing I want to apologize to you as well. We deserved it and had it coming to us. On a positive note we will continue to strive to do our best although we are only human and not without faults.
