Starter won't disengage

Sounds to me like either the handle bar button is shorting, or the starter relay, solenoid, is bad.
Also if the starter drive gear gets stuck in the start position it actuates the relay automatically and causes the starter motor to engage all the time.

Came out after eating and looked over the connections to the starter...everything looked good. I fired her up and everything was great for about 2 minutes, then the starter came back on. We pulled over and I unhooked the seloniod wire and the starter stopped.
Right now I'm thinking I have a bad start switch or relay.
I cant figure out what could make the starter engage itself when the bike gets warmed up.
