I just picked up a 2010 Ultra Limited
I went from a 2006 Ultra Classic with the 88 to the Limited. The bike has the Stage 1 Screaming Eagle intake and Rhinehart exhaust. My old bike was mostly all stock, engine wise. This is one seriouly fun bike to ride. I am not one to carve turns to a point where the boards rub but this this bike can run through it.
I have owned Motorcyles for the past 25 yrs but I have not been a Harley Rider for a long time and my first Harley was the '06. Any suggetions about this bike for those of you that own one. Things I should add to the bike or problems I should be aware of. It has 6500 miles on it and 500 of those I did this week. I have followed a lot of the converations on line here and you guys seem to know what is going on.
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks

I bought mine 4 months ago. The first thing I did was add the Longhorn pegs, the 1” floorboard spacers and the lowers quick disconnect kit. I felt the pegs/spacers were sort of a must thing.
After that I added the performance stuff (see sig). I went with a couple choices of LRS shields. I went with the Mustang Lowdown seat, mainly due to my short inseam, the seat is comfortable and I felt it was another must thing.
Other than that I don’t plan on any other upgrades, or... This is a fine bike stock but it’s hard not to do some upgrading…

or problems I should be aware of.
you actually went from a very reliable era to the experimental era. All this EPA stuff that Harley has been doing since 07 has been a disaster. Check out htis link for what problems folks are having with twin cams

My 2 cents worth;
- Get the floorboard extensions, well wroth it.
-Clearvue recurve windshield, your correct height of course.
-Have the dealer upgrade you to the SE compensator. If you are hearing a bang upon start up they should install at no more than $100.00 cost to you..
-If you want to get rid of the heat only from the head pipe. Pull the pipe, gut the cat out of it and re weld and then re install.
-Hwy pegs if you haven't already.
Good luck trying to get the grin off your face every time you ride if your enjoying it like the rest of us are!
