Default Tubeless spoke wheels for 2012

Anybody else notice Harley's press release for 2012 Touring models have an option of tubeless spoke wheels.

Yes I noticed that and it is very interesting. Spoke with tubless sounds good to me.

BMW motorcycles has had tubeless spoke wheels for a number of years on their GS models.

My guess is they are just sealing the laced rim, unless it's a totally different rim design. Something I've thought about trying myself. The valve stem would need to be a changed also to tubeless.

definetly won't be like bmw spoked tubless rims as they would not be stylish enough for the harley crowd lol.

BMW and Moto Guzzi have had tubeless spokes since the 80s.

Dayton makes a tubeless spoked wheel as well. They're not just sealed spoked wheels. They actually have an inner welded piece, and the valve stem passes through both layers.

I like spokes especially chrome aluminum profile laced. Being tubeless I would definitely think of getting them.
