Default UPS guy just dropped off my new bars...

I just received my Carlini Design Flying Apes today. One problem, I ordered 14" and they sent me 16" and as we all know Carlini bars run bigger, so there more like 17". Now I took advantage of their "Blems for sale," which when I was on the phone he said they had 14" and 16" I know I told him 14" so what do I do? I really don't wanna send them back cause as for blems I can't see anything wrong with them, plus that would be another $50 shipping back. So I think i'm gonna keep them. I'm glad I didn't order any cables yet. What do you think? And does anyone know what size on the cables I should get now?

only question I would have is ....do you like them...if yes...keep them... They alway say go one size bigger than you think you want.

Well I always say look at the bars you like, then go one size higher. I wish I would have. As far as cables and stuff, try Johnny Vaughn. Tell him what you are doing and he can hook you up. I used him a couple years ago and he was very helpful before and after the sale

14"'s are more like 16"'s so it sounds like you probably got the right size. My 16"'s are equal to most 18"'s. I can hook you up with cables as well. We liek the Magnum sterling chromite II's and black pearl cables the most. You will also need poly riser bushings and a wiring and tbw extension if you do not have that stuff. Pm me or email at DREW@DRVTWIN.COM or just call us at the shop.

You're doing the right thing sticking with the taller bars. You're going to really like them. I though Dr.Vtwin was great to deal with. That's who I got my cables from.

I have had 16's on several RG's and they are the size I prefer but with 14's you can use stock wire lenght - plenty long enough without extensions.
