8% grade, 40 mph headwind, I would've been in 5th gear, maybe even 4th.

6th gear is for cruising and you don't cruise up hill, you climb.

Thats what got - an Ultra Unlimited. Sixth is just another gear for me. I say bring on the head winds.

Ditto, my '10 Limited seemed gutless at 80+ on level Hi-way in a 30mph headwind. Had a stage 1 upgrade and with a 17.5% increase in HP, that helped a bit. Not a house on fire, but at least it can hold its own under those conditions.
