Default bagger brace and other stuff

Just got back from Colorado trip up in the mountains with my 06 street glide.Observations, bike ran great, no rear end wobble with bagger brace. I don't know to what extent it helped but the way I rode, it had plenty of opportunities to be a problem and wasn't. Rode as hard and fast as I could... considering traffic and other conditions in the mountains. Front end wobbled on the way out, but aired front tire up to around 40 and most of that went away. Still some wobble at 70-90mph considering road and wind. All in all had a blast and other than the damn shocks was pretty happy with the ride and handling.

Had a '07 Road Glide that wallowed in slow, tight turns until I installed a Bagger Brace. I've now installed three more on family and friends' bikes. It was enough improvement to keep me from joining the rush to trade in '09.

I don't ride tooo hard but sometimes I like to push it, my 06 would get to moving around pretty good on me, a coupla weeks ago my brother gave me a brand new bagger brace, I put that thing on and man I couldn't believe the difference in the bike, then I put some elite 3 tires on it and I"ve got a different bike. unbelievable how it rides

Is Bagger Brace the brand name? Where do you get one? How difficult an install? I have a 2006 RKC and am now running E3s. Thanks!

I also just got back from the Colorado Rockies. E3's and no bagger brace, and I didn't have any wobbling.

Crap that was a blast to ride the passes and switchbacks. Sure beats the riding here in MN.

Do you feel more vibration with the bagger brace?

I put the bagger brace on my 05 RK. Made a big difference riding two-up, in the wind, high speed interstate and the front tire does not follow the ruts in the road. I am very pleased with the handling & cornering. www.bitchinbaggers.com Very good people to work with. The brace fits like a glove as advertised. Easy install.

I put E3s on mine and it took out all of the wobble without the Bagger Brace.

I did lots of research and settled on the bagger brace, yes thats the name. Was sold on the fact it didn't stick below the frame and from a design sense just looked like it would work better. I am going to switch to E3's when the time comes. I think the front end wobble is clearly tire related. Didn't do it on the way back until I was off the good road (read I-70) and on the older two lane stuff. The brace won't take care of that just fixes the back end flex in the swing arm (side to side). Took about 1/2 hour to do, and I took my time. I don't really notice any additional vibration.
