Default 2 into 1 or True Duals

Has anybody tried 2 into 1 on a 2011 Street Glide w/ 103? If yes? What is your opinion on this subject?

Has anybody tried True Duals? I'm asking from the Head pipes all the way back. Whats your opinion?

It's all subjective dude. Go out and ride a few, listen to a few, then make your decision. Not sure what kind of info you're after.

At the end of the day its all about the look, sound, and a lil bit of performance which is negligible for most folks.

If you want performance gains, 2-1. If you prefer the look of duals, better option is a 2-1-2, Has the look of duals but performance of a 2-1. Fuel moto has a great product.

If you want performance and looks, go with a 2-1 with a ghost pipe. I recently replaced my V&H true duals with Python slip ons with a D&D Fatcat + ghost pipe. The performance gain was noticeable and I like the look. I don't have pics yet, but I went with the black powdercoated pipe. Looks and sounds great. Better torque across the board too.

Prioritize those three characteristics along with cost, then you can start looking for an exhaust system.

I bought a used fatcat for my bike a couple of weeks ago, but couldn't bring myself to put it on, so I wound up flipping it as soon as I got it. (Fortunately, it's an easy sale, and I wound up making a couple of bucks).

For me, the look and sound is as important as the performance, so I look for other ways to boost performance.

I had V&H true duals on my '07 103 Streetglide. Then I got a D&D Fat Cat. Got a 10 h.p. increase and a couple of ft. lbs. torque on the dyno, but the throttle response and low end grunt improved immensely. The 2 into 1 is the only way to go if you like a reponsive bike to ride. True duals keep more heat away from you in traffic, and some guys prefer that sound. 2 into 1s are for riders. Duals are for guys who park in front of the bar and rap up their pipes or stand around looking at their bike. How many posts have you read about guys taking off their 2 into 1s to go back to duals?

Sorry if I offended anyone but that's the way i see it.
