The forward seat is 16" long where the stock is 18" long.I am 5'6" anyone out there have any experience with this issue? I would hate to put out a grand just to find I bought a seat that is too long
I am 5’6” also and have a C&C fastback on my ‘17 Road King. I called and talked with them and ordered it I had it moved 1 1/2” forward. It is down and narrower, and with it moved forward it is about 1/2” forward from stock. C&C is fantastic to work with! Give them a call and talk about what you want. I had a Mustang fastback on my ‘06 street glide it is more narrow than the C&C, but not as comfortable. I had a local company redo the Mustang seat. Had them move it forward 1 1/2” also and had gel inset, and it was a good fit. I would recommend the C&C over the Mustang.

Here are a couple of pictures of my C&C
