Glad your ok. But......I always hear of people speaking of useing their rear brake ALOT. 80% of stopping power is from the front brake ! Even in wet conditions...applying the front brake and then alittle rear along w/ engine brakeing can stop you in a hurry. I don't mean to be ragging on you...it;s just a pet peev of mine when I hear or see someone useing more back break than the front.
When I was in the American Sport Bike Association a loooonnggg time ago, we used to practice panic/emergency brakeing w/ ONLY our front brake. You would be surprised how fast you can stop, even when locking up your front tire. This technique also teaches you to let off when you feel your front tire locking up and to remain upright. Anyways......hope all is well and you get your scoot back to the way she was

This is the second thread like this I've read today, you guys are trying to jinx me

Horrible what happened to your bike, horrible.

The good thing is you're up and breathing, could have been much worse. Good thing you had that helmet on, eh!

Sorry about your bike but glad you came through it ok. Sometimes I hate wearing my helmet in this hot weather but after seeing yours I'm motivated again. Thanks for sharing and hope you're back in the saddle soon.
