Default Kuryakyn Floorboard Extensions: 1" Out and 1" Forward

Has anyone used the Kuryakyn version of floorboard extensions, aka Relocator Brackets (4588)? These extensions move the driver floorboards out 1" and forward 1".

I'd love to try these, but I have some questions:

1) Do the shift pedal or brake pedal get in the way?

2) Does the new position feel comfortable?

3) Are you still using them?

Thanks for your review and feedback.

I don't have the Kuryakyn but I have a similar set up. I have the Harley Goodies that move them out 1" and then I have the Harley floor boards that move them forward 1". I have no problems with a size 11 boot.

I have them and would recommend them for taller riders. No problems for me with the brake pedal or shifters. I had forgot how much difference they made until this past weekend I rode a buddies bike without them.

Also have the HarleyGoodies 1" (vs. Kury...) and ended up extending gear shift out w/spacer (bought from DennisKirk.com). I'm guessing the 1" fwd might get close to shift/brake pedals...depending on what type/size riding shoes you wear..??

Same as KCFLHTK above, HarleyGoodies extensions with HD forward boards. Does not interfere with anything for a size 11 shoe. Sig. photo is prior to installation.

I have the Kury's also. Very comfortable. I think it makes more of the boards usuable as less of them are covered by the brake pedal & shifter pegs.

I just installed these yesterday. My feet now sit on the boards, they use to hang off the sides and front. I had no issues with the brake or shifter position.

Have a size 13 boot. The Kurys were the very first mod I did after driving my new bike off the lot last year. I felt bow legged with the stock setup. 1" out and 1" forward made a BIG difference. The boards fit behind the lower fairings of the UC and don't interfere with the controls at all. In fact the plus is that the stupid stock HD setup of the heel shifter sitting above the floorboard is solved with the Kurys. Now the heel shifter is right at the end of the board allowing you to move it down a notch or two, where it should have been in the first place. Now I can get my feet on the boards. All pluses; no minuses for me.
