Default Could the Kuryakyn Turnsignal Module cause this?

In Daytona, I had the LED turn signal kit installed (Plug in) by Kuryakyn. It also has a sequential turn signals. Since then I have had several episodes where the little red key (security light) on the Speedo lights up and stays solidly lit until you shut down the bike. Also when that happens, that is while the light is red, the left turn signal will not work. Then when you cycle off the ignition and back on again the light goes out and works properly. To complicate matters a new security module has been installed on the bike as well.

I was wondering if the new module may be causing this? Have any of you contacted customer's service at Kuryakyn and whether or not they would be helpful. Open to all ideas.

Thanks.

I recently put on their run turn brake controller, and the instructions say that there is a known issues on some bikes that the standard load equalizer can give a false illumination of the security light. They do sell a replacement load equalizer to fix this. I did not have any problems though.

From the Instruction Sheet: • It is possible that when installed on motorcycles equipped with H-D security systems, the
security system warning light may stay illuminated. This is a “false alarm” only – alarm
operation will be unaffected. If this warning light proves bothersome to you, it may be
eliminated with the addition of the Alarm Compatible Load Equalizer, P/N 4857, sold
separately.
Hope this helps

Thanks guys. I now remember when it was installed they mentioned this issue. I thought the part was included. I'll have to check.
