For the same reason guys reading threads on this forum believe them.

 

My dealer tries to get everyone to go to a PCV...I asked about the warranty issue as I had heard that before, they said they have removed them before filing a claim to remove any suspicions, they know that the tuner would not be a problem or they would not sell them. The only real thing they held firm to was if they changed cams (stage 2 upgrade,) you had to put on SE exhaust for them to warranty that. They said there was no leeway on that one. I assume there is a profit/risk margin they want to make that worthwhile if they are going to warranty cams.

 

I asked the guys at the shop today about what I was told when I bought the bike 3 weeks ago,..they said if I had performance parts put on before I took delivery everything would be covered by the original warranty. They guy today said that Harley doesn't warranty it, the dealership does...WTF?? What happens if I move?? They also said they would not install a tuner other than SE or Tune a bike that used a tuner other than SE. It's all BS!! SE pipes are required if you change cams,.. are they freakin kidding??

 

Tell her to lump the harley peeps in with the weatherman. Both are seldom right.
