I'm on level 2 light intensity also. Anything more is unreal. I'm really glad I installed this.

WOW!!! My dealer is just starting to carry them. The last time I was in they had the display up but didn't have stock yet. I'm going to have to swing by and see if they have them in stock yet.

Yup, I have had mine on the Road King for a couple of years.
I saw them in Daytona Beach, Florida and had to have one.
As it turns out they are made in Ormond Beach Florida by the same fellow who does a lot of the light work on the emergency vehicles at the Daytona Track.
It is neat to note that he uses genuine Harley tail light lens that he purchases from Rossmyers Harley Davidson in Daytona Beach (according to the dealer).
Mine has worked flawlessly for 20,000 miles!
I love it and man it is bright and attention getting form those following!

I installed a BAL-1 on my Ultra in June 2009... Last month wife told me that Half the led's were out... Sure Enuf... Emailed BAL and they said that was a Fail Safe Mode when the Electronics suffer some failure and to sent it back for repair/replacement.

Shiped UPS to BAL on Monda, Arrived BAL Wednesday, NEW unit shipped from BAL on Thursday and Back on my Ultra Monday...

You can't beat that...

Mine went on, the BAL-1, shortly after I got the bike. A co-worker said it was really annoying to be behind me. I thanked him for the nice comment. Mine is set for 3 quick flashes, 2 long flashes and repeat. Running intensity at level 2. Time to play with another pattern soon. Love the thing.

I know you set the flash settings with a magnet but is that how the intensity is set also? Was on the bike when I bought it so I don't know much about it.

I've had enough of this Brightasslight stuff, this thread was the final straw.

So I ordered one and expect to have it here and on before the week is up.

Let the public nuisance'ing begin

Yes, you can set the intensity/flash patterns and or reset it back to the factory settings all with that little magnet
