Default All ***** jack shaft kit....

Been doing some reading here, and I think it may be time to replace the starter jack shaft. Some people are saying to stay away from HD replacement kit and go with aftermarket. What I have heard is that the jackshaft kit from All ***** is a good choice, any one else confirm that?? Also does it matter what size of pinion you have as far as ordering the right kit goes?? Or does the kit fit many different starters? J&P listing is for a number of different models. But some listings refer to different number of teeth. I have a 2000 Road Glide. Motor has higher compression, I do have compression release on the heads, but I feel that All ***** is a bit more heavily built, and would stand up better. Thanks.

Bump. Come on guys, help me out. Is the stock starter jack shaft and gear going to be ok or should I be looking at aftermarket parts. Thanks.
