Soak a couple of towels in warm water, wring them out , and then place on fairing and windshield. Let sit 5 minutes, then wipe and dry with microfiber cloth.
+1 on the peroxide. I mix a 50/50 solution of water and peroxide spray it on let it sit for a minute or two then wipe right off. I kind of kewl to watch the bugs foaming right off.
+2 on the hydrogen peroxide. Bugs are protein and hydrogen peroxide disolves protein...simple as that. When you put it on a cut notice how it foams up because of the protein in your blood. Well, it does the same on bugs. Buy some at the local drug store, dilute it 50/50 with water in a spray bottle, and hit the bugs with it. Watch'em foam up and then just wipe them off with a damp micro-fiber rag. I use it where ever the bugs hit the bike...makes clean-up a whole lot easier. Excellent for cleaning your windshield while on the road. And...ifyou get thirsty, you can even drink it.
Heard some joker once say that it will fade your paint. That's total BS. I've been using it on a black bike for several years now...and the bike is still black. I'll keep using it 'til the bikes turns gray, then I'll quit. LOL
