+1 on the McGuires detail spray....use it at the end of every day cause bug guts have acid in them and eats into the paint....works great on the windshield too!

It's Bull&#!t. Pledge works great on painted surfaces. Been using it for years. No problems.

Same here with the wet rags and lay them over the fairing for a bit. Really soaks them up and wipe off pretty easy.

+3 on the peroxide - You can almost hear the bugs sizzle as it foams up - then just wipe them off and finish up with your favorite detailer.

I've been using Bugslide, pretty pricey. I think I'm going to try the peroxide.

any problems using pledge on white hot demin or general demin paint ?
