Default Cat removal

This from 4/3/11

Take a look.
Dont know if this is an option you are looking for?

Changed my headpipe right away... instant improvement....amongst other things, much less heat by my right foot/lower leg.

Check this slide show out; very informative. You can do it all yourself; just need to find someone with a TIC or MIG setup to stitch the housing back together.

It's a pretty easy job. I cut mine with a saws all and removed all the material. Local shop welded it for $25. You will need new exhaust gaskets and new muffler clamps to complete the job properly. The heat reduction is very noticeable.
