Well, the left muffler rubber was real loose, I could feel a big difference in the 2. So I cut myself a piece of 1/8" aluminum and slid it into the loose rubber, It feels the same as the right side now. I did not test ride it to see if the squeak is gone. I also found a couple of saddlebag mounting bolts that were not as tight as they should be. I also used some action wrap (amalgamation tape) on the mount for the QD tourpack. Now everything is good and solid. I'm hoping there is no more noise.

Check the bolt at the back of your seat. Mine was squeaking and I found the seat bolt loose.

You might want to be careful with tightening up the muffler or muffler bracket. The bracket is made to slide inside the rubber, so vibrations from the motor are not transfered to the frame. What happens in my case is rain washes the rubber clean and when the bike is running and the bracket is moving in the rubber it squeaks. I either remove muffler bracket and put some grease on it and replace or you can use some sort of spray lube in a can with a long spray tube that you can stick inside the rubber and lube.

Hope this helps.

It's probably the rubber spacer under your saddle bag that holds the muffler on. Take a silicone spray with an extention and give it a squirt. I bet it will not squeak any more.

As others have said, muffler rubbers! I cut some 1" pieces of rubber fuel line and shoved them in to tighten up the rubber blocks! Squeak gone!
