Default Betcha didn't know this: HK illumination

Blew my mind when I pulled into the garage this afternoon and saw the display of the HK head unit dim because of the darker garage. So I tried an experiment and saw that in brighter conditions, the display of the head unit is brighter, and in dimmer conditions and at night it goes to a second level that is not so bright. Interesting.... and another nice touch by HD!

And it's red for night vision. Is this your first bike with a radio?

I thought you could only adjust contrast, not brightness....

Now if there was some way to adjust the brightness of the cruise control light...

since my third radio has stopped working on a three year old bike I have come to enjoy the self-dimming feature of the stereo and the guessing game as to what time it is is fun also.
