That's what I thought, but with the way the Beatty tool is made I'm not sure you can avoid putting them evenly or squared. It's also cut so that it stops at the right depth.

Figures I would find this AFTER I did my cam install!!!!! And I'm NOT gonna watch it either!!! Mine runs great as of right now, about 500 miles since cam change. If I watch this and find out I did something wrong, I'll worry about it so much I'll probably "will it" to mess up!!!!

you could do this without even changing the bearings if you only have a couple thousand on the motor and still be fine.

Yep. Im sure the dealers dont change them out for guys that get them done before they take delivery on them.
