Default WARNING:Don't buy from Quality Cycle

Hello to forum, enjoy the ride.I hate rat's,but I have to tell ya'll about this experience that I had in may,and i am still having it.I found a great looking FLHK,on e-bay,it was a beautiful bike in a color that I loved.I have been waiting for 10 years to take the plunge, on a new scoot.I contacted the dealer, and he had good feedback.I asked him all the right question's that I thought a buyer should, and was satisfied, but I should have ran the vin,but was caught up in the excitement of the moment, and made a mistake.Added to that was I sent the bike to Fuel Moto, and got a 107 kit, with head work. The motor is a real beast for sure, but problem's came up when I started to ask about the title,he seemed to hesitate, didn't quiet know the right answer's right away, but I just thought he had alot going on.Well I got the bike it ran like gone, but the back pads were shot. Then I got the title, and it was a savage title,I almost lost my mind,I called him and told him that I would have never in a million years bought a bike with a salvage title. In Louisiana, you lose all your resale value,so I have a sow's ear, that I have to make a silk purse out of it.I am determined to do just that If I can get the electrical problem's worked out the rest will be a piece of cake,so if anyone is looking at a bike from these people,it will be worth your effort to look some where else, and for me a lesson well learned.I'll make it work.Happy scooting, and I thank God I still have my 01 FLHT.

They are legally obligated to disclose that its a salvage vehicle to you. Contact a lawyer asap, and if its a dealership also notify your state attorney general's office.

+1 on what VT said I'm not a big lawsuit yow a guy...but call a lawyer. He can't sell that to youmwithout disclosure. Potential problem is the work you had done, but if you get a lawyer involved ALL of that should be recoverable, as the sale was invalid prior to you getting the work done.

Yeah. If they did not tell you ahead of time that the bike was salvage and you can prove they didn't I would go after them. I never deal with salvage bikes. Also file a claim with ebay as well

You must sign an acknowledgment that you are buying a salvage title. Telling you does not count. If you do not return the bike back in exactly the same condition as you received it, you will not be entitled to collect from e-Bay. Selling a salvage title on e-Bay without disclosure is a bad thing. Without the bike in your name you made modifications on someone else's bike, not yours. I have been down this road before with e-Bay. Return the bike in the same condition you received it and get your money back and move on.

Thanks' I did tell E-Bay,and they told me it was after the time was up to file a complaint, and to tell the truth I did wait after, the two weeks was up,or the allotted time that e-bay has.I am considering in a big way about bringing in a attorney on board.I wonder if the bike attorney on this board would be a good dude to have in this deal?Has anyone dealt with him/her?

I gave 1550.00 for the 2010 FLHTK,so I thought was a good deal, and it would have been,if everything was straight up.
