Default 99E Glide check engine lite

My bike run great but several seconds after starting it the check engine light comes on for 3 or 4 seconds and then goes out, what might this mean?

Actually I am serious. I checked the code via flashing check engine light(found this info after my original post), turns out it's a crank/cam position sensor error. I will now have to go to the dealer and get the code read to see if it's really a problem or just historic.
