Streetglide speakers
I was wanting to upgrade the speakers in my 2011 Streetglide. Are HD Boom Audio speakers or Hawg Tunes the way to go ? Should I go with an amp as well ?

Hey I am not sure what your budget is and I am sure a amp would make any setup sound that much better. This is what I ended up with and the difference is night and day I can here my music clear at 80mph and for the money I am very happy

It also occurs to me that, they may need to be water proof/resistant. Does it matter ?

Another vote and recommendation for Hog Wired. I'm very pleased with my setup, jams at even 80+ mph!

Would that be the boom speakers to the stock stereo without an amp?

No you don't need waterproof speakers.
