I asked because some take batwing fairings and make them detachable on the kings. Didn't know if you were trying to do that, or totally convert your king to a road glide with the bracket, supports, inner/outer fairing, gauges and interconnect harness. It can be done. You'll just have to adapt the interconnect harness plug where it plugs into the main wiring harness since the FLHR wiring harness doesn't have a plug for the interconnect.

First thing is to buy a parts book for your year bike. I converted my Road King to the street glide fairing and full gauges, stereo. You can see what parts you need to buy and there is a wiring diagram in the back that will definitely be needed to do the wiring. It is not to hard , just do your homework.

I haven't seen a Road Glide fairing on a Road King. BUT, Klockworks makes a bracket to attach a Road Glide fairing to a Fatboy.....May work.
