I'm ordering extended cables and have a question . Does anybody know if the throttle and idle cables are the same? Barnett doesn't seem to list a part # for a non cruise control idle cable.

They are different cables. The throttle cable has the cruise control electronic connector on the cable just above and forward of the engine on the frame (even if you bike doen not have cruise). However (what I understand), you can get away with using the same cable (non-cruise) if you never want to add cruise to your bike.

Thanks for the info. I ended up calling barnett and they are making a non-cruise idle cable for me. The cable with the switch in it retails for a little over 50$ and they will make the non-cruise one for 30$ plus shipping. I don't plan on putting cruise on and from what I've heard harley is not offering the cruise option for the 07 in the new accessory catalog.
