Rain X?
#21
I've always used Rain-X on all of my bikes, but I use the foam type with the cleaner and water repellant made into one product. Spray it on, and wipe it off with a microfiber rag. No hazing, scratching, or streaks. The shield always comes out crystal clear, and bugs and road spray just wipe right off.

Used it for years on my metric and face shields. No problems with either.
Ran out of RainX a few years back. Now I just use "bug off" and it seems to have similar properties when it comes to beading water.
Never heard of ReJect. That's what I call my dog...
Oops, ReJex. That's what I call all my dogs.
Have to look that stuff up.

DON"T DO IT!!! I did. I've used it on my cars for years...great product. Put it on my bike 3 years ago, and had visible streaks running down the shield where the rain-ex ate away a layer of the plastic. Even though I rubbed it in, where it was initially applied was damaged forever.
FIXING MY MISTAKE DIDN"T WORK EITHER...
My Rain-Ex damaged shield bothered me so much that I decided to try one of those headlight polishing kits that work so well on car headlights. They DO NOT work on Harley windshields. They only turn Harley windshields opaque. I finally tossed it in the trash and bought a new shield.
NO MORE RAIN-EX FOR MY BIKES!!!
