I got my new 2011 FLHX 103 yesterday , Rinehart true duals, Sert tuner, stage 1 , all the usual stuff . I traded in my 2008 FLHX with stage 1 , rinehart slipons, power commander.
This is the first time i got a new bike and didnt get the "wow" factor , i know its only been a day and a couple hundred kms but im just not feeling it with this bike, starting to wish i kept the 2008 .
Maybe its because its the same model and no wow factor , anyone else found this that made the switch?
I really dont like it and low idle and taking off .

 

That's not a good sign, usually you get the "wow" just looking at your new bike compared to the old one, did you test ride it first? Hopefully you will start "feeling" the bike soon, otherwise it's not going to be a good relationship.

I feel your pain brother. I have an 11 Limited and really no WOW factor for me either. It's a nice bike and cruises nice but for a $25k bike I expected a little more WOW. Good luck with your new bike.

 

If you had no"wow" what made you buy the bike in the first place??

 

Its just bigger displacement with the same OEM EPA cams. I wouldn't pass judgement till you get a few thousand miles on it, and get it broke in well. Did you get a canned map with that SERT or was it put on the dyno and actually tuned.

Well,I can kind of understand where you are coming from. I hate my bike,everytime I look at it,I wish I would have gotten what I really wanted,instead of looking at the best deal. The only thing I can say is if it is just the power,that can be fixed,put some cams in,and maybe a little head work. That should put a smile on your face,if it is the actual bike that you aren't happy with,I don't know what to tell you.
