Removing tank badge
I want to remove the badge...heat with heat gun? dont want to damage paint

A hairdryer and Goo Gone are my tools of choice.

Ditto on the hairdryer, a heat gun will blister the paint. Goo gone is just as good as Zippo fuel

I hear you can use dental floss then adheasive remover. Havent tried it myself but it sounds like it would work..................BG

Had a friend do it by heating the badge with a hairdrier and a e guitar string

I just used my fingers to pull it off and then used some 3M adhesive remover to finish the job.

I was told to use fishing string, then adhesive remover.

I took mine off with a chisel and sledge hammer.
