blacked out vs chrome

Slothy is right and I've been down both roads. I chromed out my Lowrider, but didn't get a lot of money for the polished factory parts, so I decided I would powder everything on my RGC when I got it. In the end I'd say powdercoating is a little cheaper if you know a good coater, especially considering the high cost of HD chrome. You will just have some down time with powder unless you make it a winter project like I did.

I've never done it but I do want to. I may have to look further into it as well from what I have been reading.

did you have all of the bolts and stuff done at the same time, or how does that work?? does it affect the fitting of the pieces at all?
