Take a look at the new Road King Classic. The new seat puts you closer to the ground and if you're still too high, take the 13" shocks off and replace them with 12" Street Glide shocks.

It's called the King for a reason. Let us know what you do.

I am just under 6ft tall and find the std RK classic screen finishes generally in my line of vision at top of the screen. Does dropping to the 16 inch screen still keep the wind off the rider?

As soon as you ride it you'll know the answer, and be sure to post some pics when you pick it up!

I am 5'7 with a 29 inch inseam and bought a 2011 Road King. Previously I had ridden a Honda 750, a couple of Sporsters and a Heritage Softail. The RK is head and shoulders above any of those bikes for comfort and handling. At first, the size intimidated me. I did a handle bar change so I did not have to reach and modified the seat to drop it about 3/4 of an inch. Now it fits me like my favorite recliner and I cannot tell there are 800 lbs beneath me. Frankly, it handles easier than my Sportster. Just be careful on inclines or gravel if you are turning around. Do it, do it, do it!!!!! No tombstone says "I wish I had died with more money"

I'm 5'8 and 30 inches and have the 2009 model. it is a nice ride, I find that it is very nimble in my opinion. some thing that I have caught myself doing is playing with it at lights. Slow riding, seeing how long I can balance it at the light before I have to put a foot down etc. I blame it on ADD, /lol but I am constantly surprised by the Road King
