Default Hesitating in First Gear...

I have a 2008 Road Glide that I have had a 103 kit installed and dyno'd. Yesterday, was my first time riding since the end of April (I tore the meniscus in my knee playing basketball) and noticed that the bike seemed a little hesitant in first gear after for a little while. It hesitates and even cutoff when coming off the line from a stop signal. What could be wrong? I do not believe it needs a new dynotune as it ran great before I stopped riding. I have had it connected to a battery tender and on a jack while I was not riding. I also had filled the tank after returning from a Las Vegas run at the end of April. Is it possible the gas has gone bad in 6 weeks? I live in California, and filled it up at a local Shell service station using 91. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Could be you just got some marginal gas.... drain it (use it in your mower) and fill up with some 93, and see if the problem goes away. Then take 2 beers, and call me in the morning.

Unfortunately, we do not have any 93 stations in the Los Angeles area (that I am aware of). So you definitely believe it's the gas?

Mine's hesitating or stumbling when I start off in 1st gear from a stop. The rpms go up and down. It's a little scary sometimes, especially if I'm having to turn from a stop. I've been getting the "check engine" light with several codes. Are you getting CEL and codes?

I just had a 103 with cams done. When I took it out after the final dyno last month it was perfect. Now it's "sputtering" and hesitating mostly at low rpm or low load like when starting from a stand-still. Today my dealer ran it through all the checks (fuel pressure, compression, plugs, etc) and found nothing !#@!*& What a pain!

If you did nothing to the bike in between it running good and falling on it's face.... I would suspect you got some bad gas.

Draining and refilling is the first step. If that doesn't work start looking at other things.... look at the plugs too.

My RPMs seem a little off, too. I have not been getting the "check engine" light and it's not throwing any codes.

if we are talking about hesitation from a long stop (like a red light change) on a hot day, I don't agree it's the gas. If you have a stage one, on a day in which this occurs, pull over and pull off your egg shape cover and see if the problem goes away.
