Default good deal?

2002 Roadking with approx 10k miles. Seems to be in great shape. Is $8500 a good price? Its carb not fuel injected.

Sounds good to me . . . If this is your first H-D then great bike to get started on and low price of entry.

Yes. This is my first bike. I have never really ridden a Harley before but it felt very comfortable when I sat on it. Is it easy to get used to the riding posture? Also, the seller wouldn't let me test ride it as I have never ridden a harley before. I will likely have to have it delivered to my place. How to make sure the Harley is in good shape? He started it up and it sounded great. Also see below some of the addons on the bike

- mini ape hangers 14 inch
- highway pegs
- passenger floorboards
- smoked turn signals
- saddle bag liners
- will throw in a pair of heated gloves
- screamin eagle pipes

I think so. It's about what I'd expect to pay for an 02 in good condition
