Default Dunlop Elite 3 cupping??

I have one of these on the back of my '07 Ultra. It has maybe 10,000 miles on it and is cupping pretty bad as the tread rolls out from center. There is almost 1/8" difference in the rubber from the front of any given groove to the back of the it. Has anyone else had this happen? Running 40 psi always.

I have it too with 8,000 on my rear, thing is I don't feel anything weird riding. It is smooth and still handles great, always run 40lbs as well.

Got about 9K on mine and it's showing signs of cupping also. Not bad but I can see it. Handles and feels fine tho.

I can feel some vibrations at highway speeds and its starting to roar/whine a good bit in turns. I have the IDS and SE compensator so none of it can be blamed on a lack of either of those.

Also with 9,000 miles on mine and noticing the cupping described here on this thread. Also, by touch (not with a thermocouple) the outside of the tread feels hotter than the inside. I'll have to take my tire pyrometer with me today and get some really accurate readings. When I was racing we would measure a tire in three locations; Both outside edges and in the center. The ideal readings were to get the same temperatures across the entire face of the tire. We would use these readings to fine tune our tire pressures and alignment.

Ive got over 16,000 miles on mine with no issues. Still wearing well and looking like I can another 2 or 3 thousand out of it

I have 12k on mine with no issues, I check my pressure every 4th or 5th ride, I would like to try the dynabeads next time I have heard good reviews and they say it reduces cuping

Yep. On my 3rd E3 rear and every one of them has cupped, regardless of pressures. I get about 8k out of the rears, and they start cupping around half way.
