Looking at a set of heads right here in my shop the only way a large amount of oil could travel to the breather is if that valve is stuck open AND is sitting in liquid oil not foam ...it looks like the oil is not drainging back down the return holes quick enough and is immersing that breather filter in oil.?????????

@grf000, I guess I could not swear in a court of law that it was a quart each time, but judging from the amount of oil on the bike and ground after stopped,it seemed like a lot. I am inclined to drain it again, put in 3 qts, and see what happens

Yeah I'm tempted to just put in three qts and see what happens.

BTW, does the synthetic tend to be more troublesome in this way than the regular oil?

Reread my post. Took a while to finish. Do not run it lower then middle of stick between full/low with hot oil. Oil level is not your problem.

bingo....another mod (just like the SE compensator groove mod), so now who's going to be the first to drill out and up size the return hole? BTW, I actually thought that the vacuum from the intake would actually suck in oil from the vent return line which points directly into the intake and did not have to much faith in that oil drain hole actually working....what would prevent oil from being sucked out into the intake from the oil drain hole?
