Default After Market Bags for Road King

I have the hard bags on my 2011 RK but was wondering if anyone does a replacement bag in leather...not some cheap thing that will fall apart but something that has a bit of quality about it. Still lovin the 103 in my new girl, that motor with the Stage 1 is great. Still waiting to put some other shocks on her though as the OEM ones as we all know are sh******* and you bounce and wobble all over. Progressive HD 440's soon I hope with the gas ones in the front...fingers crossed, just need to make some more money

Contact John at http://www.surgicalsteeds.com/home.html, ask him for a referance or photo's of the bags he was having done in leather. He was getting them from a vender in California. I know your not around the corner, and I mean the states by that. But they can be shipped to you.

thanks Guy's, I have emailed Iron Bags, they look good and I think will suit me well. Do they just fit straight on or do you have to change things around at all.
Thanks again

Iron Bags just bolt right on and they are bullet proof. Don't forget the matching windshield bag, great for glasses maps or GPS get the large one.

Have you checked E-Bay? The Road King custom or Classic bags will fit your bike with no problem at all. They go cheap on there.

are you "hard bags" the painted fiberglass type ? My neighbor has a RK with the hard leather bags. Me may want to trade

Another vote for Iron Bags. My boss went to school with him and has a set on his street bob. Great bags

IRON BAGS only way to go!! Great service and customer relations, the best built bags on the market and don't forget the large windshield bag. I have them on my 08 RK and will never go back!!

Thanks for the great feedback folks, I have already had emails back from Donna at Iron Bags and are starting to sort through the details about shipping etc. It can be very expensive to ship to New Zealand by air (UPS) so am looking at my other options, I have shipped a lot of goods from the States in the past, so nothing new here.
kpb46, thanks for your thoughts but I will not be getting rid of the hard bags, just want a different look plus look after the paint on the Hard bags
