+1 on that, along with 3 hail Marys and a couple our fathers, and maybe a few extra guardian bells, that's the first i've ever heard of this 1 after over 30 + years. strange hope they get it fixed.

All joking aside I would put a 100 dollar bill on that your starter switch is bad. My buddy had the same issue he stored his bike in his house in the winter,so one drunken nite we went over to his house snuck in and threw a coat over the headlight and turned the switch on and waited and waited and waited after five minutes we started to believe that the old man was full of ****. But sure enough a few seconds later the thing took off and was sitting there idling. You should have seen the look on his face being woke up at two in the morning out of a dead sleep by his two rienharts pounding away. The switch was letting power through the start side of the switch untill it got 12 volts and would then start on its own.
