I purchased some 4" Rineharts for my cycle this year. First set went back after 600 miles. Rinehart customer service was great. Had some chrome chipping / peeling and they sent a new set right away too me. Now I'm on my second set and my right black end cap had the black flaking off. Again, Rinehart customer service was great and sent out a new pair of end caps.

IMO the customer service is great BUT as some of you have said with exhaust that we pay this much for we should not have to deal with these issues. I would have to agree. Like many have said other pipes I've had with many trouble free miles with no issues. Guess if I needed new pipes today I'd have second thoughts on the Rineharts. I love the look and I think the sound these 4" produce may be the best sounds I've heard out of a Harley BUT with the issues, I may not want to give them another try for the price and issues I've had thus far.

They did,but now Clearline makes them,and the quality seems to be 100% better.

 

The only real issue that I can say I've had with the Rinehart 3.5 TD on my 05 FLHRSi are that the end caps have faded from black to a deep dark purple colour. But since my bike is Black Cherry in colour, I figure what the hell - custom look to order...lol
