I have thin long sleeve cotton jackets, perfect for summer riding. They zip up like a coat, I bought 2 of them while in Mexico for that very reason.

I can pretty much take the sun but there are times when I prefer to be covered but I also want to stay cool. I wear shirts that I use when I am out bass fishing. They are specially made with mesh vents and lightweight material so you can stay comfortable in the sun. The shirts are well worth the money.

I have a couple of white long sleeve light cotton t-shirts that I wear to keep the sun off of my arms.
