I'm really sorry I started this. I wasn't out to offend anyone in the group. Honestly, I love the RoadKing - more towards the standard than the custom. I rented one because I wanted to try it out to see if was better than the 89 I had. Honestly, it wasn't what I remembered. Could have been the bike. Could have been me. Probably a bit of both.

Well Whiskers, I'm gonna ride an Ultra next week - though I'll probably sign up with another ID to hide the fact that it's me when I report back. My wife just went down on her sporty so maybe I need a better 2-up bike anyway while she's working off the injury.
This whole thing is sorta like loving the brand but not digging a certain model. Like, I love this country but I hate Hillary Clinton. That doesn't mean that I hate people that like Hillary, oh, um, scratch that.

There ain't anything wrong with any bike that has Harley on its tank. However, there are a whole bunch of people here who smell blood and like to move in for the kill.
This is also something we do with newbies....just like eating our children. You'd better work fast to get your second star.

Bring the Dynas.. they are just a smaller Bagger and like the baggers are GREAT bikes.
Don't some of the softys have floorboards too? My Fatboy did.
When you get tired of making your case here we will still have the better bikes...

Ouch. So let me get the straight guys - softails are for posing, baggers for riding. I'm thinking you guys are spending too much time on the interstates and not enough on the windy bits. Cause I'd scrape bagger floorboards before I got two corners from my house.
