Installed my Monster Ovals today
WOW! What a great sound.
Over the winter I installed a PCV and a K&N intake. A few weeks ago I picked up a 2009 cat-less header pipe. This made it sound more like a H-D should sound.
This morning I installed my new Monster Ovals. I love the sound. Not too loud, not snappy or too much bark, but a nice low deep rumble that growls when you open it up.
Some people on the forum have said the MO's sound too much like car - they're right - think late '50's sled but without the bounce.

I have had my MOs in for a couple of months now and love em. Great sound but not too much, still lets me cruise and hear the radio.

my buddy has them on his '10 SE Ultra and everyone loves them. they have the perfect blend of sound and quiet. quiet enough when cruising and then they open up when the throttle is nailed. i would get them on my street glide, but i'm even tually going to put on extended bags. btw, he put v&h headpipes as well.
