+1. Although that's one more RG than I normally see after I park mine. I like being the oddball.

Never really cared for the RG until I test drove one at a Harley Demo Days. One month later I bought one.No looking back now.I won't have anything else. But the SG is a great looking bike and if I could afford two bikes the SG would be in the stable also!

6 to 1 half a dozen to the other.
Ride/Rent 1 of each and make up your own mind.
Then you will have your own opinion, and that will be the one that counts.
After all what we say, really means jack in the long run.
It's your cash$$$$$$$$$$$..

It seems like alot of the Road Glide riders are proud to be "different" and they poke fun at the Street Glide riders for riding a "common" bike. If that appeals to you, go for the Road Glide.

Other than that, it's about looks and ergonomics to me. I've never ridden a Road Glide, so this next statement is me talking out of my ***. But I just can't imagine a Road Glide feeling more "stable" than a Street Glide on the highway. I also can't imagine the batwing fairing make the front end "feel heavy" or making the bike feel "sluggish", which are both common things I've read.

Rent each for a weekend and put some miles on them.

Then decide for yourself.

I ride on streets and roads. That's why I ride a FLHTCUI. Handles both real nice!
