Just a passing thought. I have a Corbin dual seat and love it, but the front is bucket shaped and my butt is lower than the edge of the seat. To get a foot to the ground is probably further than for many other seats, even though the tape measure says it is low. I also contend that you do NOT need to get as low as possible, but get used to riding your bike! I can just get both ***** of my feet on the ground, which is close enough. Ride on!

 

I have a Corbin Classic Solo, and although I LOVE the seat, I don't think it lowered me much if any. The Hollywood Solo seems to be lower profile but I do not have any first hand experience with that seat.

I'm trying to decide between the standard size c & c solo which is 18" from nose to lumbar or the shorter one which is 16". Which one did you go with? I'm 5'8" tall, like you. I've read that the standard will sit you back an 1" and I don't want that but I don't want to be setting too close to the tank with the 16" seat. When I talked to the fellow at C&C he said my height fell right in the middle. Are you happy with the riding position of yours? Thanks for any insight.
